Besides there is official news on White iPhone 4 but no official news on iPhone 5. -

CHINESE FIRM REGISTERED 'IPAD' TRADE MARK IN 2000

BEIJING - A Chinese firm in Shenzhen has accused Apple of copyright infringement over the use of its trade mark \"iPad\", which the firm registered in China a decade ago, the Beijing News reported.
According to government records, Proview Technology has owned the rights to the use of the name \"iPad\" in China since January 2000, whereas the United States technology firm started selling its tablet computer in China only last month.
The report said Mr Li Su, a shareholder of the firm, has warned that Apple products may be seized by the authorities if the firm does not \"stop its rights infringement activities\" and hold fresh negotiations.
Previous talks over a transfer of the trademark did not conclude with an agreement, it said.
The report quoted Mr Li as saying that the price of the iPad trademark could now stand at US$800 million ($1 billion).
Meanwhile, Apple has started taking orders from customers in China via its online store, as part of efforts to boost sales in the world's fastest-growing major economy.
The online store will offer free shipping and personalised engravings for some products, the company said. The applications store will also start a service in simplified Chinese.
Apple also said that the launch of its elusive white iPhone 4 will be delayed until spring. On Tuesday, bloggers posted screen shots of the app appearing to offer the option to reserve a white iPhone 4. By late afternoon, that option was no longer available. AGENCIES

NEW YORK: Apple fans are going to have to wait a bit longer to get their hands on a white iPhone 4.
\"We're sorry to disappoint customers waiting for the white iPhone yet again, but we've decided to delay its release until this spring,\" Trudy Muller, an Apple spokeswoman, said Wednesday.
Muller declined to give any reason for the latest delay.
Apple began selling black versions of the iPhone 4 in June and said the white model would be on the market in July.
In July, however, the gadget-maker said \"white models of Apple's new iPhone 4 have continued to be more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected\" and would not be available until later in the year.
The release of the iPhone 4 has been particularly turbulent for Apple, featuring a sneak preview of the device on the Internet after it was obtained by technology blog Gizmodo and antenna issues.
Nevertheless, Apple described the iPhone 4 as its most successful product launch ever, with more than three million sold in the first three weeks after its debut.
Apple said last week that it sold 14.1 million iPhones during the latest quarter, up 91 percent from a year ago. -
The Iphone 4 is indeed so successful…even my father who is not a IT gadget person has fallen in love with it. A pity he doesn’t use sms, so I’ve taught my mum to send sms on the iphone 4, so as not to ‘waste’ the 500 sms given.
