I have a friend who successfully conceive a boy by observing certain diet for the husband. Unfortunately, I can't remember which is which - more acidic food for boy or more alkaline food for boy. Of course, it could be pure coincidence too. To each his own.

By the way, I also have a chinese sinsei who told me that his dad (also a chinese sinsei) was able to manipulate the gender of baby...

When I had my 1st child (DS1), I went to this lady to help select a name for my son. Our family will go to her for choosing auspicious dates for weddings etc. She said my DS1 will bring siblings in alternate gender. True enough, I have a gal next and then my youngest one is a boy. I would love to have a fourth kid and hope #4 will be a gal like what the lady has predicted.

If you want a boy and a girl, you should move to Bishan. In our circle of friends in the neighbourhood, we all have a boy and a girl. šŸ˜‰
Had DS1 in Boon Lay, and DD2 in Woodlands.
Maybe it is the change of environment? :?

I read that doing it nearer to ovulation will have higher chance of conceiving a boy. So besides her prediction, I also followed this method. So far it seems to work.

In all honesty, I wouldn't want to toy with this.

I will just gladly receive and be appreciative of what Mother Nature grants me šŸ˜„

                  Agree.

I specifically told my gynae/ob not to reveal the sex of the baby during all the scans when pregnant with DS.

Ditto if I have more kids in future.

                  :celebrate:

Used to know someone who wanted a boy so badly that he ended up having 13 girls in 12 years

Officially in China the doctor's licence will be suspended if he reveals the gender of the baby to the parents during health check.

But they have devised a method like ..... 1 tap on the table is boy, 3 taps is girl.....etc :rotflmao:
