very true, free and easy, moving around can be quite an experience when with many luggages.


I find it very inconvenient.But, its sure an adventure.

I only know I was very 'chuang' coz many JR stns are without escalator and then we have to catch connecting trains on diff platform. Quite an experience!!!

Try to travel light! Of course there will be some inconvenience as can't bring this and that. But this is travelling!

remember to get some vacuum bags from Daiso. Makes packing those bulky winter wear (if u r bring extra for fashion change) alot easier

Just buy all the bags from Daiso in different sizes (small to large). All these don't need vaccum cleaner to do the job. Must more convenient.

either u zip up leaving just a small opening for air to escape and then sit on the bag or press it with something to force air out. it will not be perfectly flattened but it'll help.

Oh, that's how it's done. Had vague idea of borrowing the vacuum from the Housekeeping department :lol:

* Down jacket x 1 (thinking whether to bring a spare)
* squall vest x 1
* Wool sweater x 2
* fleece sweater x 2
* snow pant x 1
* snow jumper x 1
* fleece-lined polyester pants x 2
* long-sleeve tees x 6 (thinking whether to bring 2 more)
* long john x 3
* fleece sleepwear x 2
* wool socks x 7 pairs
for DS.

Maybe too much just for DS (since only 8 days in total). With all the above, already one big luggage.

For myself, have not decided what to bring and how many to bring.

Hi, just being kaypoh here. You might want to bring gloves, ear muffs, wool hat and heat pads (can buy from Winter wear etc). Remember to bring moisturiser and lip balm as the weather is cold and dry. Hope this helps.
