            DD2 : Mom! I need you here!

            Me : Why?

DD2 : It's important! I want to watch this show
but it states that Parents or Guardians must be
around to explain to the children about it...

Children cannot watch this on their own, i need
            supervision!

Me : Where does it state so?

DD2 : There! At the corner of the TV... PG.. See!

Me : It's Parental Guidance lar... parents are supposed
to be around to guide their kids while watching certain
            shows.

DD2 : It's the same lar.. .. guardian... guidance...
            It's the same..

Me : Hahaa! Wrong oredi, malu! ( Me bad hor.. )

Oh well.... she got the gist of it right. πŸ˜‰

              lolz.
i have something similar to share about ds1.
when he was younger, once, we took him out to the shopping mall and he ran to one of the kiddy rides and then ran back to us, telling us that we must watch him play if not he can't play at all cos 'children under 7yo need adult supervision' as stated on the ride. 😐

I was explaining to my K2 student the meaning of 'wedding anniversary'.

Me: It's just like your birthday which comes around once a year. Once a person is married for a year, he'll celebrate his wedding anniversary. If he's married for 2 years, that'll be his second anniversary.
Student:  So if I'm married, I'll will have a wedding anniversary every year.
                Me: Yes, that's right
Student: What if I married the wrong girl?
                Me:  :?

I love it when my students tell me such things... Really makes my day with their innocence and wits.

Same here. I was :? :? all the way, but others seem to get it perfectly.

Even if you marry the wrong person, you still need to celebrate a wedding anniversary anyway....

The thing is... would you expect a 6yo kid to tell you that he's thinking about the possibility of marrying the wrong girl? And his innocence at wondering what happens if he marries the wrong girl (he might be assuming that no need to celebrate wedding anniversary)!
