Gee… so nostalgic.
I remembered those days Tampines was so remote.
My parents used to pick me from Tampines Bus terminal after school. -
The only thing that looks the same as today is the MRT stations.
I like those days that Singapore is not so crowded. You can see many pockets of greeneries everwhere you go unlike today that even a small piece of land will be sold to build condos. -

i never made it to the top of the Pelican. -
Me being a bus enthusiast, 10 years ago when I was two, my grandfather used to bring me to the bus stop near my house and watched bendies on 812 go by… when I was 7, I used to being a frisbee into the bus and sit at the seat behind the driver and play bus driver "ie. turn the steering wheel and pretend to press door buttons", and on those old SBS Mercedes buses I will sit at the place where the brooms and dustpans are, and use the broom pole as a "support" for the "steering wheel". My goodness those days were funny.

Hi ks2me, thanks for the reminder.. yes, now that you mentioned, we spent loads and loads of time playing R.O.C.K. plus many hand-clapping games with beautiful rhymes (coming from all-girls school ma..)
Yes dear ksi and RRMummy.
R.O.C.K. rock !
And also everyone sat in a circle.
Blow Wind Blow.
Those who wore spectacles; a watch; white tee shirt etc.
