KS Reloaded:
Yes, for NYPS, it is 276.

The 2 girls are in the MOE's top-chart.
      not parent but student:
Hi!

I checked with a parent in Nanyang whose child is in P6. She say the top scorer in Nanyang is 272 from GEP! Highest in mainstream is 271! CONFIRM!!

      Any news from Rulang??

      meimeitan

nope its 276 by 2 girls; next is 273, another 2 girls.
275 is the top score from Rulang
My daughter got 260+3, seems can try NJC or DHS, which one is better? 😄

First of all, congratulations to your daughter for the achievement.

Just curious, why NYGH is not one of the choices? After all, NJC and NYGH are just next to each other. I don't think the +3 is applicable to NJC.

Anyway, do research thoroughly before making the decision. Cheers!

Thank you! Would put NYGH as 1st choice but bit risky - can only try if lucky enough, reckon her score is more close to the COP of NJC/DHS. DHS campus is brand new, NJC campus is too old. DHS offer High Chinese where NJC don't. However some people say Junior colleague of NJC is better than DHS. Hard to decide
Sorry to interrupt but NJC do offer Higher Chinese as stated in a news article in the school's website. http://njc.edu.sg/index.php?option=news&task=article&id=160
It is in fact a compulsory subject (as in, every student has to take Higher Mother Tongue, not like some schools whereby only the 'better' students are given the chance to take).

I am a student of NYPS and I got 270. The highest in NYPS is not 272, but 276. And the cut-off pt is 263 for NYGH

My son is from SJIJ and got 238 which is the cut off for SJI.

However, we are thinking of trying for Nan Hua (COP 242), or AHS (COP 240) or CCHS (COP 236) as his first choice. Shld we try??

              :?:

Would like to reiterate, COP 263 (for NYGH) is last year's score.
