        Hi Lizawa,

What are your dd's choices? Or has she already gotton DSA?

        Hi ApronMama,

No, she didn't get DSA. But has got a decent score (low 260s) so, we are going to put NYGH as 1st choice. How about urs ?

He got high 260+ and dist for HMT. My DH wants him to go to an English school such as RI, ACSI or VS to experice making friend with other races since he has already been in SAP for 6 years, but he wants HCI only, which is what has been motivating him to study hard for the past two years.

President Scholars: RI + RJC > HCJC + HCI

          President Scholars: HCJC > RJC
HCJC started in 1974 whereas RJC in 1982.
Now no more RJC & HCJC.
          Now U have RI & RGSS(Sec 1 - Sec 4) & RI (JC).
          Now U have HCI & NYGH (Sec 1 - Sec 4) & HCI (JC).

Please be clear of the changes before U make a wise choice.

Thank-you so much for your reply. I called TKSS on open hse but the reply was there isn't any! Anyway, in order not to hv too many grey hairs overnight, i think will hv TKSS as 1st choice & Temasek as 2nd.

Haha, know what you mean. Just go with the teachers' advice and you gut feeling if you think TKSS is the right choice for your son! :celebrate:

HCI is a good school. I am sure he will like it. True that there isn't much of other \"races\" to mix with, but if he picks up 3rd language, he will still be able to make friends with other races.

The only danger is cop of Maris may rises to 234 same as yr son’s score for easy understanding. What are the chances? Nobody knows at this stage. Then someone who has placed Maris as their 1st choice having identical T-score as yr son gets the priority.

                      Hi all,

Need some advise here ... :?:
My ds got 234 and he wants to appeal to SJI, so I'm thinking of putting :

                      1st - SJI
                      2nd - Maris Stella

do you know if his chance of getting into Maris Stella will be lower just because he put it as his 2nd choice ?

                      Thank you
Yes, YLH88, take INNOVATE's advice, put Maris Stella as 1st choice, his chance of getting in is very high.
