Any mummies have any more feedback or update of results from Brainfit or SBDC? I’m considering to enrol my child in either 1.

Hey Mommies


Remember I shared earlier that my boy did 20 sessions with them & was waiting for the post-prog evaluation?

Well, guess what?! Before I did the evaluation from the studio, he had his SA2 results...the improvement was tremendous!

He has not been passing his chinese lang since P3 and since this year has been assigned to foundation chinese and still failing. Believe me his grades are single digits. Well he shocked all of us with a 80% for chinese this term!!

Showed more than 50% improvement across all subjects and even got awarded Best Effort in class for his results!

The only thing we did during this term was the SMART Listening prog and no change in home tutor.

My son himself did share that he finds learning less challenging in class, & even his form teacher noted in his report book that he is a happier child this semester!

Well, I just signed him up for another 20 sessions on listening & another 20 for Smart Moves for the holidays.


Do check out their parent workshops. Of course each child has different milestones but to me, its worth it. The results really boosted my son's confidence & ours!

Wow, that was amazing. I’ll be attending the preview this saturday. Hopefully this can help to solve my girl’s attention deficit problem. Although she is just 4, I realise that her attention and focus problem is hindering her ability to learn and pick up new knowledge. All her teachers, including those at her childcare, are complaining to me about her poor concentration problem. No matter how much effort i put in for her reading and piano, she can’t seem to improve and move on as she simply cannot sit still and focus on every task.


I’m tempted to join SBDC at first but was hesitant now because of all the negative feedback on the forum.

I can understand the frustration. Do give the talk a try.

Its perhaps good to consider doing an assessment first. At Brainfit Studio (BFS), they do a cognitive map assessment to determine where are the areas of weakness and then you decide which program to take.

Sounds interesting. Read quite a bit on this neuroscience advancements in the US and it seems like they are pretty cutting edge with the science…

Like to send my daughter now aged 5 going to 6 to one of these programs.

Is BrainFit School same as BrainFit Studio mentioned here? got a mailer they are opening a new branch in the East

What I understand from Brainfit Studio is that they are opening an English Language School incorporating brain training at Marine Parade. There’s 2-3 more similar centers opening in the next few months I think.

Sounds interesting as they have developed an English Language curriculum based on MOE syllabus and also incorporating brain training component.
