Off topic, there is one MCQ in Kong Kwa 2010 CL CA1 Q6 answer should be option 2 instead of option 4. I think the answer key provided wrongly. You may want to have a look.Thank you.

      Here's the question from P6 Kong Hwa Maths CA1 2010 Paper Q6:

Joshua swam 2000 m yesterday. Luke swam 400 m less than Joshua. Find the ratio of the distance swam by Joshua to the total distance swam by Joshua and Luke.

      Options:
      (1) 2000:400
      (2) 2000:1600
      (3) 2000:2400
      (4) 2000:3600

Answer given was option 4 which was correct.

      Workings
      Distance that Joshua swam = 2000 m
      Distance that Luke swam = 2000 m - 400 m = 1600 m
      Total distance swam by Joshua and Luke = 2000 m + 1600 m = 3600 m
Ratio of the distance swam by Joshua to the total distance swam by Joshua and Luke = 2000:3600
      ie option (4).

      Thks.

        Dear Brenda10,

I am sorry for not reading your question carefully.
        :stupid:
Yes, the correct answer for Q6 should be option 2 - 家境 and not option 4 - 四周.

        Thks for your understanding.

          Hi Brenda10,

          Could you pls visit P6 Nanyang Maths CA1 2010 Paper 2 Q11 [4 marks].
Answer for part (b) should be 150 degree and not 105 degree as given.
          Pls kindly check and confirm.

Thks for your valuable time and effort.
          😉
          Dear VC

Yes. DD worked out the answer also 150 degree for (b).

She said the two angels of triangle PVQ (left and right) are 15 degree each, as such 180 - 15 - 15 = 150 degree

          Thank you.

                        Dear VC

After discuss with dd, we have the following concern.

DD takes it as a figure. She shaded the other 2 triangles and derive as this answer (1.25m²).

However, if she stacks them the other way she will get another different answer (7/12 m²) .

So if we divide by 6 then we will get the same answer with your sister (5/12 m²) .

                        Thank you.
