      duriz:
      Mummy hapydino,

I usually bring the pot to a boil.

      Drop the chrysanthemum buds in.

      Add the 冰糖.

      Stir a little.

      Put the lid on.

In about 30 mins, I strain the pot, throw away the buds, pour the yummy chrysanthemum into a mug to enjoy.

The remaining is left to cool and then put into the fridge for a chill treat.

But the chill liquid don't usually last more than 3-4 days as we don't add preservatives. They taste and smell a little wonky after that.
      Duriz,

office no pot and no fire to bring to boil..

so i suppose, kettle boil.. buds in mug.. pour boiling water, cover lid, hot water soak buds (oops, sorry Buds) for 30min and remove buds will do??

        Your method can lah.

Methinks buds won't take offence, at her advanced pregnancy stage, a good soaking (even in chrysanthemum buds) sounds like a real treat šŸ˜„
