having said that (i want to give up), i still give thanks, i am given a chance to discipline and coach the kids myself.

When i was FTWM, my kids were raised my mum's way = lost of TV, junk food and \"attention\" haaa. my parents simply give in to their whims n fantasy, totally not my style

i guess the grass is always greener on the other side... i need to learn to appreciate my side of grass
Absolutely! I have experience being a FTWM, PTWM and SAHM and although the SAHM is most exhausting, I love the fact that I am in control and I call the shots!

Now I'm on PT work, and it's either my mum or in laws coming in to help when I'm at work. I really appreciate that I have their help. BUT, my home is no longer my castle and I have no choice but to accept some of their disagreeable practices, simply because I am not around to control them. I can't wait for DS3 to arrive, then I'll be back to SAHM and I will have control over my empire again! :rahrah:

        Hey all,

I thought I had joined a group something like this in this forum, but anyway, here i am again.

        I’m a SAHM, with three kids (P2, K2, 2).
Spending alot of more time with my children at home with teaching and taking care of them. Hope I can find pointers from parents here. Cheers!

          hi hi

          my 3 kids are 8 (p3), 5 (k2), 3.5 (playgp) next year.
          #1 and #3 are girls, #2 is a boy

i agree, being sahm really gives u the control of how to raise ur kids, no matter how tough. its precisely why i chose to be one, cos i cant tahan how my mil handles my children.

at least u as the mum is ard to scold them, cane them n rectify their wayward ways. becos if the mum isnt ard (most likely no one else will correct their mistakes)…until they get into trouble wf the law.

            Hi πŸ˜„

Do I have the most number of kids in this forum currently?
....Cos I have 5 kids (aged 12y, 10yr, 5yr, 3yr and 1yr). I'm currently working and also a single parent (daddy departed last year)...
Life is tough but one has to move forward...

I think you mean Club SAHM where we all used to hang out, Fettuccine. πŸ˜„
Club SAHM is regardless of the number of children.

I think the sharing here is more specific in a sense it is for all/any parents
with 3 or more children and sharing how everyone manages with everything
going on.... coping with more children under their roofs.... more mouths to
feed.... more errands to run... (etc) .... πŸ˜‰

                  Hi Buds, now I recall...:-)

Yes, more mouths to feed and the errands all clicked with me, including increasing costs...
