Sorry I'm quite blur here. Is the name tag the cloth one that we collected from MyUniform?
The P1 name tag states both the child's name and the class name. -

Hi, the name tag that I'm referring to is the one that was given out during the orientation. Its a piece of paper with the child's name and class printed on it and it comes with a name tag holder and its to be pinned on the uniform on the first day of school. Parents are also to indicate their contact number at the back of the paper. -

Thank you very much for the clarification, panda. I've totally forgotten about that other one. I've simply chucked all the P1 books & stuff to one corner of the house.

FT will also ask the P1 child on the first day of school where they will be dismissed, then indicate on the front of this name tag. FG - Front Gate, BG - Back Gate, SG - Side Gate or the Bus No. the child is taking. -

I'm new to the school. I will be picking my Ds from the gate that is nearest the church and not the gate that cars enter. Is that gate considered the side gate? Thanks. -
E3:
Thanks E3. Actually during the orientation the FT already asked us that qn. I think if FT were to ask ds that qn on the first day, ds can only give his best impersonation of a blur look.panda8064:
