can't get used to the class naming. it took me a while to figure out which level is Responsibility....old man, so brain working slower....

Same.. was trying to count which level it is too!! BTW, did any P1-to-be receive letters for the class alllcation changes? or are they gg to annouce only on the 1st day of school? was thinking it will b confusing to have 2 Loyalty 1 classes on that day...
haha... i am not saying PE 2 was 'weak' class.... remember there was another 4 top classes above, CH, FA, GR and HO. then S-banding from HU onward....so to jump from PE 2 to top class in P3 was definitely not easy but possible with hard work....

Under the \"old\" system, they have top 3 classes (CH, FA and GR), I think. Now, the \"new\" system has supposedly top 4 classes, but until now, I am still not entirely sure! :?

Yes they had the top 4 classes till Hope 2. The rest are S-banded from Humility 2 onwards..
\"S-band\"? i dont know what it's meaning.... :?

Subject-Banding. Basically the classes are band based on subjects instead of overall result.

Whoa...great!! Lizhi, is your dd just as good? This class needs a little nudge nudge for Chi. Boy in 2nd place topped CL. My dd's chi marks dipped this year so would be good to have more serious contenders to make her pull up her socks. :D
😞 my dd's CL is not as good as me.  her chi mark is lower...i need improve her veeeeeeery much!

In PH, S-band means the kids are banded from Humility 2 to Wisdom 2 based on their level rankings such that positions say 121st to Hu2, 122nd to Joy2, 123rd to Ki2, and so on to Wis2, then 129th back to Hu2 again, all the way to the 360th. 😉

No I didn't get any letter either. Been waiting for it but it never came. Hope no P1 parent labels the books with the old allotted class names.
