My son wants to go ip school actually and he doesn't mind going to rv. In fact, he is surprised that I want to appeal to hci
Well if you take a step back, rv is also a good ip school and you pay only very cheap cheap school fee for 6 years.
If I am not wrong our forum parent - daisyst stay in the north and send her dd to rv.

hi zann
thks for the comforting words. i know rv is a good school too. which is why i have included it as one of the choices. juz that, i tend to get stressed up when pple stared at me and said: why rv? so far away from toa payoh? though they didn’t say it in my face, i am sure at the back of their mind, they must be thinking " this is one cruel mum who makes the kid travel all the way from tp to jurong daily for 6 yrs." -

Hi Octopusmum,
You'll get used to it after a while. Everybody gave me funny looks when I told them about my choice. After a while, I'm not affected anymore.
Heard that a lot of people went down to RV to appeal today, so RV is also quite popular. -
Usually IP school has boarding facility. Frend from the extreme east have son travel to HCI than RI via 3 buses and subsquently stay in the boarding school.

Any cases here with above COP of RI, appeal and got rejected?

How to know whether got rejected or not? thought only shortlisted will be contacted -

Going from Toa Payoh to RV in Boon Lay is not far as there is MRT. The time taken might be even faster than those who had to change 2 buses to school (I know kids studying in East or Bukit Timah or Clemnti that has to change 2 buses). Moreover, in the morning, by going NW, you are avoiding the peak traffic travelling (?or maybe not if people are all travelling to Jurong to work???). Given the COP and your kid's score, you have made the \"best\" choice based on availability. So, please don't worry about what others have to say, it's not their decision and they have no hand in it!
