      Just received the letter from school for my P1 girl. For next year P1, the renaming of the classes is as follow:

      Charity 1 --> Integrity-1
      Faith 1 --> Integrity-2
      Grace 1 -->Integrity-3
      Hope 1 -->Integrity-4
      Humility 1 -->Integrity-5
      Joy 1 -->Integrity-6
      Kindness 1 -->Integrity-7
      Loyalty 1 -->Integrity-8
      Patience 1 -->Integrity-9
      Peace 1 -->Integrity-10
      Truth 1 -->Integrity-11
      Also, there will be a briefing on general school matters and curriculum for parents from 2 pm to 5 pm on first day of school, 4 Jan (Tue).

      Wonder what takes PH so Long to Send Letter .... :?
      Looks Like Very Direct Class Re-Naming to Me ....
      :roll:

      Direct .... for P1 only
      P2-P6 ... not so direct liao

        Markfch, apart from CCA Koyok.

        P will also sell the academic koyok .. to encourage parents to be involved in their kids work. It is also quite common that they will use the P1 first day to reveal the 2010 PSLE result. Remember to copy stats down and share share here. πŸ˜‰ TIA

          Hi all P3 parents (2010),

          May I know how are Diversity and Systems taught for P3 Science as I noticed that both topics will be taught in the Lower Block from the Syllabus Requirement. Do they learn ALL of Diversity (ie. Living Things and Non-living things + Materials) or just one topic at P3? Likewise for Systems, will they be taught ALL the topics in Plant System and Human System?

          I find that it’s easier to focus if I know the topics that are being taught from each theme for each year. Thanks.

            Unfortunately I'm unable to take leave during the first day of sch due to work commitments. So I'll ask dw to jot it down instead. But must forewarn you that dw has a totally laissez faire attitude towards all things academic, so she may end up recording the wrong things :lol: .

                  Does anybody know how next year’s Pri2 class has been grouped? I heard that for P2, Respect 1 is the best class, followed by Respect 2 etc. Is this true? Shouldn’t it be the other way round just like for P3 onwards? Many thanks!

                      This year, the presentation slides were uploaded to the school website. Hopefully, you can find them there if the IT guy is on the ball. PHPPS is lacking behind in this area, hope that he will be more on the ball in future but i doubt so....

                        Hi E3,
                        The P3 are taught All of Diversity (Living and Non-Living Things, Animals, Plants, Fungi & Bacteria and Materials in T1 and T2. These topics are tested in SA1 2010.
                        For T3 & T4, all topics in Plant and Human Systems are taught. So for SA2, Diversity and Systemms are tested.
