It's quite typical... my 2yo son fell sick a week after he entered child care, spent a week at home, went back to child care, fell sick again within the week, spent another week at home, went back to child care again, fell sick again... the cycle repeated itself so many times within the first 2 months that he spent more time at home than at the child care. They don't call it \"child care\" for nothing  . It's apparently part of the \"resistance\" building process. -

It happened to mine too. Sheโd fall sick every month. Sick for a week, lose appetite for 2 weeks, well for another 2 and then ill again. Its so frequent that our family physician suggested the flu vaccine. Seems to work for frequency has reduced significantly.

Try to put him through some aerobic sports like swimming and jogging. They really help if you keep at it everyday. Help to build up resistance naturally.socks:

Vitamins! I give my kids vitamin C, calcium, multivits for growth and development. Like someone said, exercising build immune system too. But if for a young toddler to fall sick often, eat lots of food/fruits rich in vitamin c and anti-oxidants. Eg, spinach, grapes, ketchup, tomatoes, fresh fruit juices, etcโฆand lots of fish.
