or think of it, if u were FTWM, life will be even more stressful, hving to juggle career n family. but of cos, some women will rather seek to escape from kids by working…

when i was a FTWM, i was constantly worryg abt my kids and feeling guilty over not spending time wf them…

My kids are really really getting on my nerves, I feel taken for granted. Its scary, but i feel i m starting to hate them! I tell myself, i shld not let them steal my joy.
Oh it was one of those days for me. DS1 showed me major attitude this whole afternoon. Thank goodness DH was at home. He saw how worked up i was getting so he went to handle DS1. If i had to take him on, I would have surely slapped him!

Kudos to all of you who manage on your own! :celebrate:

First of all, I wuld like to thank 24-hr mum for initiating on this thread, it's a great one!! Kudos to all mummies of this club cos 3 & more is really a handful.

I started to be a SAHM 4 yrs ago, I've a girl (12), followed by 2 boys (10 & 7). I've got no domestic help so I am training my 2 older kids to help out with some simple household chores. Guess it benefits both mummy & kids, mummy welcome the extra help and kids get to learn some lifeskills.... 😄

Hi everyone, I'm a sahm with 3 boys 12-14. So glad they've all finished PSLE. It's tough being a parent in this age. It's tough being ftwm n having to supervise homework n take care of the home, but at times I feel it's worse being sahm cos if your kids don't turn out well, people kinda look at you n wonder what you've been doing at home.if you're ftwm you can at least say you were working your butt off what more do they expect you to do?? Worst is when your kids turn out well n you get no acknowledgement on top of no pay, no leave n no fixed working hours. Still, it's been a great ride being sahm n I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

I have a full time helper n we have a 5 seater SUV n an MPV which is really needed only on some weekends when in laws visit, so I'd say its not really necessary. the boys have Chinese tuition from time to time and are able to walk to class so I've become quite redundant... But they still enjoy being picked up:-) financially, it saves a lot not having to pay for so much tuition.

Although I wouldn't trade my boys for the world, I can totally see why some people just don't want to have kids. To each his own, I guess, but kudos to all of you here for having so many! :celebrate:

when the kids are good and make less noise, they are much desired 😄 . I think the school hol is tough for me, coz i have to handle them full day, not helping that my kids are young and close in age, so they fight, complain and whine easily.

I have been a sahm for 1.5yrs but tis holiday is the toughest, I guess when they go to school it'll be better. Tomorrow school starts!

I think I know y i m moody this school holiday, I am temporary staying with my parents. I dont like the idea of my kids disturbing my parents so i tend to get upset more with the kids when they misbehave. When we were living in our own home, i was more tolerant and less moody :)..looking fwd to moving to my own home.

                hi all

i started this thread cos i was curious, m i the rare one to hv 3 kids? most of my friends hv only 1 or two.

i m glad to form this network and admire mummies with no domestic help.
when my #3 turns 5 in two years, i might ‘retire’ my helper then

                      Hi all

                      I am a PTWM with 3 kids, DD1 in P6, DD2 in P5 and DS in P2.
I have let go of my domestic helper for close to a year now (after having maids for 10 years), and is training my DH and 3 kids to do housework. They made their own bed every morning, and wake up by themselves and get ready for school on their own. I am a night owl so every morning will have tug of war with \"Zhou-Gong\" before I can wake up. Many times, my DD1 will wake me up to open the door for her before she goes downstairs to take the school bus - bad mummy hoh?! DDs also take turn to wash the dishes, one on Sat and one on Sunday.
Ummm .... about tuition and outside classes - coordinating for 3 of them is really a headache... I have to enter their schedules into my electronic calendar and then see which one clashes and how to rush from East to North to bring and fetch them ... (**see stars**). Especially when DH is outstation like 50% of the time.
I suppose for tuition and enrichment class - it depends on their interests and their needs. I tried to keep their classes within weekday and Saturday, and to keep Sunday free as our family day, but from this year onwards, Sunday will also have classes, since my DS will start going for classes this year.
Happy to \"get to know\" all of you here.

i m hvg headaches coordinating classes for my 3 kids. tryg to keep expenses down too. told my #1, if u dont practise hard for piano n fail ur exam, i will gv ur chance away to ur siblings.

i try to arrange classes on same day, one after another, so that i don hv to be away from hm every single nite.

i admire those without maids. my hubby is outstation very often, esp wkends. my kids are in nursery, k2 n p3. so i still depend on maid to help me esp when we go out wfout DH and hence by public bus on wkends.
