Dear all, I have received a letter from NanHua stating that I am unsuccessful in becoming a PV. I am determined to try again. Does anyone know exactly what the school need most from their parent volunteers? Thanks!!!!
Are you staying within 1Km of Nan Hua PS? I would suggest that you consider other school instead of Nan Hua as the school should have good reason rejected yr PV application. -
Any body has worked volunteer for Yu Neng in Bedok or have children studying there? How’s it? Thank you.

As far as I know, it's very very very difficult to get accepted as a PV in NanHua. -

Hi, I thought perhaps my experience might be useful to those parents who are interested in PV at Nanhua. I have applied to be a PV at Nanhua about two years ago. I did get a favorable response from the school. But in the end I chose to give it up for various reasons. What I offered in my application letter are pretty specialized services, such as sharing the latest research and best practices in education psychology in the classrooms in the form of lectures, seminars, workshops for teachers and/or parents. Also, I offered workshops/courses on statistical analyses and programme evaluations, and services in the area of leadership development, teamwork/team building, performance management, etc. So perhaps some unique services may be what they are looking for? I remembered the principal said before there was one parent who was an architect, was accepted as PV at Nanhua at the time when the school was undergoing some \"reconstruction\", so his skills was put to good use.yeoh_tt:

Hi,
I am currently doing PV in Nan Hua for my child admission in 2011.
I am willing to share more about my experiences, but would prefer to do so in private, since my PV is still on-going. May PM me to discuss
Cheers. -

One thing I noticed... Nan Hua parents tend to be very happy to share with others regarding their experiences with the school. This is refreshing and say much about the school! It must be doing something right for parents to want to be so involved.Hi,

Hi,
Can I know if there is anyone doing PV at Red Swastika Pri sch? I’m currently staying less than 1km from the school but I’m still worried that my boy will not be able to get in the sch. Is there any clan that I shld join to higher my chance? -
May I know if there are parents who have done PV but have not clocked enough hours to qualify?

can any parent who PV at Kong Hwa shares what are the skills and services the school is looking at? thanks.
