        vicki:
Most times i have a 'sharing' concept, aka, order variety of food and get small bowls so that everyone eats everything... hence, in a sense, i dont eat left-over food + i still get to eat wat i want!! :celebrate:

hey, this sounds good... I share try to put this in practice 😄 have 2 boys, 6 &5 who like totally different foods, so when i make them share 1 XL adult portion, someone will always b picking at the food. but I get so tired of eating leftovers or having to waste unfinished food. Hopefully this will work with them 🙏

Was at Holland V during the weekend. Was so tempted to try out the near Ramen shop near to the KATONG LAKSA but one bowl of seafood ramen cost $15 so if 2 pax plus GST would be at around close to $40.

DW says lets just eat Katong Laksa - 2 pax $10 without GST.

I tried to save a little. Inspired by this cooking show I saw on cable, I decided to buy whole chicken instead of pre-packed parts, like fillet and breast meat. Showed my helper how to debone the chicken and get the different parts and still have the carcass to make into soup stock.

Lasted me 2 marketing trips and I am back to the convenience of buying pre-packed parts. My helper went back to the habit of chopping up the whole chicken and cooking it bones and all in 1 dish. And I find it too tedious as well. Moreover, in asian cooking we tend to cook the chicken with bones on.
