I took cordyceps for many years since I was very young. I think my mom was trying to improve my immune system because I was very weak and sickly and would visit the doctor at least once a week. I am asthmatic and my mom would have to carry me to the doctor’s everytime.

I never knew young children were not supposed to take cordyceps. Anyway, I don’t give any to my DD cos I don’t think she needs it. And yes, it is not cheap.

        insider:
Feeding kids with cordyceps is like feeding them gold... It's that expensive...

Lood at the great love of your mum for you!!! (but that time not so ridiculously expensive).
I think buying cordyceps is cheaper than paying the doctor once a week, from my mom's point of view.

I did get my menses early but I just thought I reached physical maturity faster, like my mom. I think my DD looks like an early bloomer too though she has never taken cordyceps.

          Hi, Insider.

Thanks for the post on green bean. I did not know using a metal pot will cause oxidation. I specially bou a small thermos pot to cook green bean soup, now gotta buy a small clay pot.

              Hi insider

would appreciate some advise on cooking barley drink for kids... I never seemed to get it right, which type of barley to buy, how much barley to add. My barley drink either end up too tasteless or too thick. 😛 My ma's drink is perfect but all in \"argar-ration\" of mixed china barley and us barley (for why also dunno) My kids hate the creamy barley I made. I always felt that the \"goodness\" are all in the \"cream\" so I shake the bottle prior to pouring them a cup.

How abt Lo-Han Guo? all i know abt these two drinks and chrysanthemum are that they are \"cooling\"...
