      Hiee,

Can children eat eggs every day?

      Thanks
Should be ok I guess. Cholesterol doesn't apply to kids right ?
My skinny son loves eggs - fried, 3/4 as well as hard-boiled, steamed.

You also gotta monitor if he has eggs at school, childcare or kindy. If they have already served eggs at school, then you shouldn’t give him an egg everyday.

5 eggs per week is good enough. My son had a headache and we suspected he had too many eggs (he wanted one at dinner everyday and his CCC usually served eggs as well). The headache stopped when we removed the eggs at dinner time.

Hi, my DS2 is 4 yr old and loves eggs. He will ask for eggs in every meal. But I will control because a GP has advised not to give more than 4 eggs a week.

My dd has (1) soft boiled egg (with milk) for breakfast about 4-5 times/ week.

I believe eggs esp. soft boiled are good for children in their growing years.
Though dd is still skinny, she is much stronger than before.

i read from some journals that for kids, one egg a day is not considered much.

My entire family are strong advocates of eggs - just do a quick search on google to read the countless articles that testify to the host of benefits eggs offer. The best part is that they are unadulterated protein and give a boost of energy that sustains for hours.

My dad eats 5 eggs a day (he’s been following a strict exercise regime) and has been doing so over the past 2 years, and my nephew who is 6 eats at least 1 egg a day, sometimes 2, depending on what’s for dinner each night. But he starts off every day with an egg. We do try to add some variation so he wouldn’t get bored though. Sometimes we give him soft-boiled eggs with toast for breakfast, and at other times, hard boiled pepper egg sandwich or cheese omelette (yum!)
