      Hi

I cant comment much on e sch yet as my daughter will only starts in January under full day care. My DD seems happy when we visited e centre couple of times.

Do agree that e centre is abit rundown but it does not bother me much. The most important is the education n the teachers who taught the students :)[/list]

            Hi there

Would any parent be able to advise their experience either with Kinderland Bishan or Carmichael?

One more to add.....any comments / findings on Kinderland at Woodlands Civic Center is much appreaciated. All I can find on this thread is that the teacher changes a lot and the principal is rude or have some internal politics....is it still happening? How is their curriculum on English, CHinese and Math? Thanks so much! šŸ˜‰

i am writing this to all parents out there planning to sent their little precious to Kinderland Hougang to revisit the premises before making the decision...

I hv sent guoguo to tis CC for playgrp when he is 18 mths and was always been pleased n impressed with their structered play n curriclum
Thus wen meimei B4 she turned 18mths make reservation way ahead just to secure a place for her!

Nitemare starts...and i withdrawn her on 2nd day!!
The new principal (all the dedicated n loving teachers n principal , cleaners hv left!)... without asking d purposed of my withdrawal insisted me to pay $120 for juz 2 days class total of oni 6hrs!! so muc abt growing the centre n improveing the quality of CC..

MY withdrawal was based mainly on their professionalism n hygenie!

1)my gal on 2nd day was put on a play equipment fit oni for 3yrs above... head was crammed btw bars... was shaken with feared.. ! all tis happened with a teacher standing bside, later gving reason tt my gal nt awared of the danger!! of coz she dun she is barely 2 yrs!!!

2)no clean up after mealtimes n kids r ask to play!! wif waterbottle scattered all around uncapped!!! dirty n oily fingers laying on every toy in sight!!

                3) tissue paper n dustbin nt in sight as there is a boy wif long flowing mucus dripped down to his chest nothing have bn done which i later use his shirt to help clean up, IN D PRESENCE OF A TEACHER!

                4) Tis is d best!! the reception gv the crying boy a full whole grape in presence of teacher overriding her saying is SAFE as giving d reason he hv taken solid food in Infant care!! poor boy start chewing wif grape juice dripping out fr d mouth as it prove to be to big for him!! I was wondering wat if he choked!!! and how could the recep with no formal training override a teacher! so muc for their professionlism!

                5) toddlers running ard with no structural play ( EG sorting etc) even cawling under white board to BASC (classroom shared with no proper parition) where is saftely!!!

                6) me a sit in parent was ask to look after d children as teacher go get lunch!!! wat if i am nt there and kids start go bongus or put an eraser in d nose?? haha...

                etc etc....

U will tik is a big class...... haha oni 3 pupils!!! wat a laugh! n i was asked to pay $120 as my gal have taken a place up in their CC!! hw abt me chging them for my labour put in!! :?

Hi hi, i have 2 sets each of short sleeves and long sleeves Kinderland uniforms (S size) to sell (total 4 sets). Reason is because my daughter could not adapt to a cc yet, and we have withdrawn her from Kinderland.

She has only attended less than 2 weeks of cc, so the uniforms are still very new. Kindly PM me if you are keen to purchase them from me. Will be letting go at a cheaper price.

Many thanks for ur kind attention! šŸ˜„

                        hi,

I am also doing some recce of childcare in the east vicinity for my son.
I went to Safra kinderland recently. It seems to be an OK childcare. I am not impressed with the curriculum nor the teachers.

The teachers seems to be rather afraid of the supervisor.

Any one has any feedback about the set up and also its curriculum for toddlers?

                        thanks!
