Ha ha, same here, I escape into my world of Jodi Picoult![/quote]One of my favourite authors. My respite is when all 3 are having their dinner. I usually will wait for my dh to have dinner with him. I will go into my room and just soak myself into the world of books or anything that helps me to unwind. If anyone of them enters the room, I'll give them the mummy-has-shut-down-look and she'll leave instinctively.
I try to 'escape' from my kids at night...by taking a longer than usual time to hang the wet laundry on bamboo. Need a break from them bcos the noise can be rather stressful after school all the way till nights...yes, weekends are no better.janet_lee88:

There is 'shared responsibility' at home where subjects are concerned. Next thing, my P1 gal will also be telling her teacher mummy needs to ask gor gor how to do some Math questions. :oops: -

Not true. Nothing is confirmed yet. Why do you want to chase me out?
...but we will miss her very soon come next year when her DD gets out of PH (her DD is confirmed a GEPper!) 
Just kidding... She'll most likely still go for the 1st screening test and God-willing, go for the second. Decision comes after that. If I am the P, I will not train my students too intensively from P1 - P3, specifically for GEP. Instead, train them AFTER P3, like offering the Thinkers Today, Leaders Tomorrow programme, so that on one hand, you develop many excellent students for PSLE, on the other hand, you keep the brains. One year makes a big difference in terms of maturity. My thinking is a little warped, I know, that's why I will probably make a lousy P. Just my humble opinions.

Ya the TTLT is a very good programme. Not too sure if they offer it only to the top class....
