I was also super crazy about 尼罗河女儿 (Daughter of the Nile) !
MyBaby,
Luck you, manage to get the 小甜甜 comics. It's no longer in print due to some law suits. Nowadays, got $$ also cannot buy. So I was thrilled to see the candy candy dvds on sale in spore. Too bad the whole cartoon is in Jap. The other comics that I like is ni luo her nu er (Daughter of the Nile).
Happy to find another person who likes the series.
But I think my girl is too young to read them, because of the love story in the books. I will probably let her read them when she is over 10 years old. -

Just to report a minor success I have with my P5 Chinese hating boy with Doraemon comics.
Yesterday, he reminded me to read the comic to him before bed, seeing his interest, I got him to read all the 大雄 conversation while I read the rest. And he actually did! Haha, will now do so every night so he at least now get to be the one reading parts of it.
Hurray!
My K1 boy is also not rejecting the 基础汉字 and I have been able to do with him every morning and night, with the morning been a revision for all the previous words plus the new word introduced the previous night.
Yeah! -

porcupine12trade, TPY popular is selling colour version. I saw it at $4.45. But not the full set. Only a few selected titles only. -
