        Hi sall

My son said that he is able to read his teacher’s hand writing most of the time. And yes, his pe teacher is pretty fierce.

            H sall, you got pm.

Most PE teachers are fierce and demanding. They can \"torture\" you till cannot walk properly for 3 days. Maybe the kids not fit enough

Now year 3 starting oracy lesson too. The teacher is from outsource company, not sch teacher.

Our PE teachers weren't fierce last time. They are the most friendly teachers. I wonder if these PE teachers happened to be the discipline master. If that is so, it easily explain why they are so \"fierce\". But kids nowaday can't stand any slight fierceness etc....I remember during my time, the discipline master used to stand at the spot where all students have to walk pass after morning assemblies. He was real fierce...his eyes were sharp and penetrating and he was checking the hairs and fingernails of every students that walked pass him. Then occasionally, one or two students will be stopped and get shouted at for their slightly longer hair that touches the collar. The shout can be heard 400 meters away. Even if it was not you that was stopped and get scolded, the cold chill penetrated right through your spine.

I think PE teacher has to be fierce as the lesson is conducted in the open, not like in classroom. If not fierce, the students may scatter all over or disappear or hide behind some pillars etc. PE tr is like the shepherd controlling so many sheep in the open. πŸ˜„

Firece, discipline is good but I don't agree with the idea of some \"torturing\" activities. To train up physically, need time, its not a matter of a day or two. And esp after a long holiday break, you know lah, these kids, can be quite unfit. πŸ˜„

The shephard analogy is quite funny  but I think if the shephard is fierce all the sheep will be scared away...

I also wonder if these PE teachers are retired army PTI or officers or SWOs and teacher is their second career.
