      Poor thing 😢

Before I forget, can I check with you if it's worthwhile getting Weekly English/Maths for P6 pls ?

      Hi Janet

I did not get these Weekly English/Maths since I have some Maths Assessment books from my nephew, A*star booklet, onsponge book 6 as well as 21 school papers.
I think it should be sufficient for this period of time and after June don't think dd has time to do lah

      Hi Brenda,
May I know more about the A* booklet? Publisher and where to buy?
      TIA!

I think \"NickleBee Tutors\" comment that foundation must be strong before moving to the A*booklets is very wise.

            Hi Brenda,

I bought Weekly Maths & English for P4 and P5, although it doesn't quite sync with school work, but something to follow every week. But I get him to do Week 1-2 at one go bcos CA1 or SA1 is not at the 10th week but earlier.

            Hi Janet

I think so long as they have consistently exposed to assessment book or test paper then their awareness and speed will be there.

Brenda, I find the A* booklets quite tough.

May I know if your dd started on them in P5 ? which term ? I understand some of the topics are covered in P6 so those can wait. It is just for my general planning as my friends told me there is no time to complete if wait till P6.

                      Hi pixiedust

We started gradually after the school has completed the three main topics of fraction, ratio and percentage. I find all these questions are interlinked and at time the child has to convert percentage to fraction or ratio and may be fraction to ratio or vs. The P6 topcis like speed and circle etc we can do it later.

Your friend’s comments is quite true like now we also have very time left once the supplementary class and enrichment class has taken away 4 days a week.
