My kid’s Pediatrician says "sleeping a lot when young helps to boost height" … do not know about teenages.

i believe in three areas to increase height:

                1. genes
                2. food
                3. exercise

nowadays children are taller than the yesteryears’ kids. cos of the food they eat, better food. and exercises helps to develop bones… cos outdoor activities with exposure to sun helps the kids muscle/bones to grow…

A friend mentioned to me that once Girls have their menses, they don't grow in height anymore. Is it true? What about boys huh? When do they stop growing?

I think any teenager grow the fastest during their sec sch years. That is 14-16 year old.

Exercise really helps-especially basketball, netball. My brother grew from 1.6 m to 1.82 in 2 years (14-16) when he was on his school basketball team.

I heard about this too... and true enough, those kids that I know who slept late, are generally quite petitie. 😉
