I guess he meant it as a perception, and not truth... i know of someone who was from a top pri school, he went normal stream and went poly.. I didn't think it was a big deal,yes he is not affluent, just comfortable but i know his parents and relatives thought he was 'failure'. It took him some time to look beyond such criticisms and to recognize that he has different strengths, and results and qualifications weren't everything.

It's good to have parents like you, Funx3 and periwinklejoy in this forum expressing a different viewpoint rather than the more common tunnel vision of academic excellence and nothing else.
It helps people like me to put things in perspective (my own PSLE results were junk but I also managed to make a decent living what :>). :celebrate:

Sorry, can't tell u yet but if your dd doesn't know, means mine might know know either. My dd is not home yet cos of Girls brigade. What's the highest score? How about Cl and Sci?

but my dd didn't care others result ... however, your dd's score, she knew, very good. CL and Sci, haven't been announced.

As long as he fulfills his potential, he oredi does well in my eyes.
