haha, yes, yes, that is why i put quotation marks
bzmum22:
No lah. They are looking for \"commitment\".
You must be committed to be available almost everytime they call you and that you may be required to do more than the required 40 hours. So, if you are being called up even if you have completed 40 hours, plse don't be rude and tell them that you have already finish your duty so they shld not call you anymore.

Just wondering, for those with kids in P1 this year. Does your kid teacher notify the dates of their Maths test beforehand?
Cos I just asked DS FT and she told me it (maths test) there is no schedule, as each class finish each topics at various time. so it is like a mock test (ad hoc basis), to better gague their performance.
That’s why I was kinda of surprise when I received DS 4 maths test papers together (to sign) 2 weeks ago. -
Hi xian_kai, my dd FT said that they’ll have test after each topic. Then they gauge the kids’ standard from there.

Unlikely to be going as there is no one to take care of my son who would still be sleeping at that timing. The timing is too early, it would be better if it could be later say at 9 am. If anyone is going, appreciate if you could post an update on the talk. Thanks. -
when is the PTA? didnt hear anything from my gal.

It is actually the informal breakfast talk with the principal and teachers, starting 4 April. The school has already issued a letter on this and on it is the specific date assigned for the P1 classes e.g. 1A to C on 4 April. -
After getting to know more about West Grove....my impression and perception of this school/vice-principal totally changed. I started to like the school..and believe it a suitable learning environment for my Kids.

Hmmm, I am considering WG as one of my choice to do PV too.engp9337 & bzmum22,
I agreed with what you have said. The vice principal that i met basically dun care about what kind of parent i am and what is my strength that i can contribute to the school. They are just looking for free labour to be a gate keeper. The vice principal keep mentioning of their need to get gate keeper. To be frank, the school didn't leave me with good impression. Now, I have hesitation to put my girl in the school...
I wondering whether Rulang's interviewers do the same thing or not? Anyone succeed in getting Rulang's PV?
Any idea if they restrict the number of PV intake for year 2012? Dont want to end up ballot out after my precious 40 hours.
