Lizhi, is this boy sitting next to your dd? I saw this boy during PTC. He is a petite boy with a lot to say. He also told my dd to not do this, or that. My dd retorted him that it' was not up to him to say so and brushed it aside. Tell your dd to shut him up once and for all. If not, request for a change of seat if she is really distracted by him.

Last week, she has purposely done whole set math paper, but her one classmate forced her to erase 2pages as she was specially mentioned by him those 2pgs was not hw...
One more, when she corrected her wrong answer but this boy did not allow her change... such small things happend many times...

Son complained that the portions of food sold in canteen is shrinking...by chance I read in the newspapers that other school canteen operators either increased prices or shrink portions. 1 piece of plain prata costs 70 cents. Advised son to buy something else if he's still hungry on days he has supplementary.

Yes, he is sitting next to my dd, many 'rubbish' topics... seems he likes to restrict others. I know my dd's character, she dont want offend her classmates, but i told her, she will lose herself if she listen to him. When my dd talk to me she will not take part in the ICAS, i suddenly came to realise, she lack of self judgement in order not to be hurt. I was worried and mentioned this matter to my dd1, so her elder sister, also explained to her how to handle the relationship with her classmate and emphasized she must take one ICAS at the dinner time of yesterday. This morning, I msn to my dd1, 'that is good, when you was talking with your younger sister yesterday, i was so proud of you, and she is so lucky she has your such perfect sister...'

Agreed with E3, If he's too distracting, Request T for a change of Seat.
It is Normal Practice for T to seat a Talkative Boy next to a Quiet Gal. With No Reciprocating Partner, this will discourage him from distracting the Class during Lessons.
My Gal is Often placed Beside such Boys in the few years she's in PH, and has complaint about it to me occasionally.
She Just Ignore Him during such times, and Life Goes On ....

Just Curious, is this condition happens to your family member during certain period, like when they are kids, but cure by itself when they are adult,

Ds' allergies were present since infant, my family had them only during teenage yrs, doc's not sure if he will outgrow. He has a very good appetite so sometimes snack alone is not sufficient for recess, but he is still v scrawny n v small sized
tcm doc says no absorption bcos of poor health , so no choice. 
That will b less serious soon.
Php, u r really v hands on!! Really appreciate the parents n volunteers who put in pv hours, they r contributing to the sch too! Ds actually miss the church volunteers most during e sch hols!! Lol -

- luckily I still can depend on php for answers. Hopefully in another couple of years time, I will also be more attuned to the system; then perhaps php can also leave for greener pastures, hehe.
