Stress can lead to skin breakouts/allergies. I had hives when I was bf 24/7. As it is, I already have sensitive nose. With lift upgrading just outside, I sneeze even more. So have to close windows.

I also have ezcema and it will flare up when I am under stress. As I grow older, it's under control somehow and with every pregnancy, I got better ...hehe...Thank God none of my girls inherited it from me, at least not that I know of. πŸ™

            E3:

I had printed a few sets of samples from this website for my dd to try before exams. I assume they are samples and usually sample papers do not depict the real standard of the actual papers, so will the actual papers be set at a different level of standard? More difficult? Can any parents whose kids had taken verify? The passages for English paper are of good standard, and the questions are ok, Math is fine. I had not let her try Science yet.

I still hv the P3 test papers (both my elder boy n younger boy). Let me find some time tonight to post the topics covered.

Thank you. No hurry. I am just curious on whether the sample questions are pitched at the same standard. πŸ˜„

hmm...seems like many of us have ezcema here. mine started only 6 years ago. i think it is due to work stress. now is more manageable or maybe i learn to be cope with the itch better. when i travel overseas, it gets worse. my ds1 also has it occasionally.

                  There are 40 qns - 1) Number & Arthmetic, 2) Algebra & Patterns, 3) Measures & Units, 4) Space & Geometry and 5) Chance & Data

                  Some difficult qns are:
                  1. Solve a problem involving manipulating a 3D shape
                  2. Find the number of faces of a solid made of three triangular pyramids
                  3. Divide metres by centimetres in a context

I suspect that the increased allergies could be due to all the impurities in the genetically produced food that we are consuming.

Are you aware that statistics compiled locally shows that 1/3 of us will develop cancer during our lifetime? Jin scary isn't it .

                      Hi Markfch,

Allergy is usually inheritary. My sensitive nose and skin has passed on to my son.

                      Hi Periwinkle,
I emailed son's Science teacher to enquire on topics which will be tested for SA1 but got no reply 😒 For CA1, many P3/4 topics were tested, short of Materials & Systems. So my guess is SA1 would be on Cycles, Materials and Systems this time. What do you think ?
