For some reason, my face laughs and my heart aches at the same time when I looked that those pictures :faint:

Are children a mirror of their parents?
If it is… then you’ll agree on where the problem lies… -

Looking back, I would like to apologize for the brashness of my reply to you, INNOVATE. :salute:

To each and everyone
It has been a real pleasure to learn and share with parents here on education and other matters for almost seven months.
As with all material things, there must be an end. On this occassion, i would like to conclude my journey with KiasuParents.com with this final posting. Some here may be happy to see this notice.
Wishing all parents here with joys in bringing up their loved ones.
Lord Bless!

We may have differing views regarding the sanctity of NS as an institution but that's no excuse for my brashness; notwithstanding the fact that I thought that I was communicating with an army guy (who I assume will be used to strong language). -

As a whole, I respect the army alot. There is always some blacksheep and it happens to all organisation. I saw my brothers changed after the army. They become more responsible and tougher. Maturity level also improve alot.
I salute to all our army boys and men. :salute: -
We must learn to laugh at ourselves. Life is already so stressful ferrying the kids around , rushing from one centre to another
 Being a kiasu mum is a tough job ok.

Tell me about toughing our kids up. When i allow my kids at 4 years old to pack their school bags for childcare, i was labelled as cruel and my kids odd. DD came back one day and said teacher asked her why she doesn’t have a maid to help her out.
I feel it is a chicken and egg thingy. Parents with maids please do not bash me. If kids see maid picking up after their parents, pick up the laundry, put dishes away etc… I can’t imagine how one can instill independency to them. i have a conversation before with a friend discussing about how many girls can’t do housework now. My friend said she knows that and that is why she is getting the maid to train her DD to do housework. Ironic, right? -

I do pack DS1's P1 bag but then he'll claim he cannot find this/that. Now I ask him to do it himself - if he puts it in, he should remember where to find his pencil case etc.
I do carry DS1's bag when walking home from grandma's house - but after talking with friends, I think I should getting him to carry his bag no matter how heavy. -
even my p3 DD i make her carry her own bag
i always tell her that she must responsible for her own stuff
i think army bag is not suppose to be carry by others but the soldier himself.
wearing a army no.4, you should know that you are responsible for something and have some pride
btw SAF will take appropriate action against serviceman who made maid carry backpack
