No exam till P2 SA2, which will be used for P3 class placement (ie, our only chance to get into the kids into good classes?)

Will be using below to guage students' progress :
topical tests
(no dates will be given)
(on average 2/term/subject >> total 6 per term)
Show and Tell - self, peer and teacher's assessments using smiley face
(break down into small items)
(if major difference, then reassess by other teachers)
profolio and feedback from teachers
(like kindy's type)
(break down into different subjects, further into Listening, Speech, Reading, etc abilities... then further into a few more items on the checklists...)

Sorry I need to ask a simple qn cos I didn't attend the talk. So at P2, everything depends on SA2? There's no continuous assessment of any kind in P2?

I think they will breakdown the component, if not the parents will all :faint: -- 100% SA2 is no joke.

I missed it three, after I understood that from 2008, streaming in primary schools was scrapped and replaced by subject-based banding...

:? I heard from a churchmate just yesterday, she said it is really 100%SA2 for P2 per what she understood.

As mine was transfered to PH only in Jun P2, all her CA1/SA1 in ex school were totally disregarded, the 100% SA2 was seriously no joke.

It happens to some schools.....this is serious NO JOKE on the parents + kids

Anyway, this will be her last exam in PH, and most probably her last CL exam until dunno when, hope I can breathe better throughout her paper sittings.
