i bought the 5 books from popular , the basic chinese 500, "qi meng ji" but funny thing is that the books never say which one to start first? -

Look for a circle with dots in it. It should be on the cover and on the side. One dot means book 1, 2 dots mean book 2 and so on.

I know that many parents start to panic at P4 when their kids hate Chinese, thinking that it is too late to do anything. This RGPS girl certainly proved that it is not too late ! -
Just to share, I bought the Chinese version of Geronimo Stilton :

The Chinese version is quite well written compared to the English version. Like the English version, there are pictures on every page, and some words are highlighted in large font and colour, which will help kids transition to chapter books. There is no hanyu pinyin.
These books are suitable for kids up to P6. There may be many words that our primary school kids need help with, it is best that parents read these books with your kids. These stories should be appealing to boys.
These books cost about SGD15 for a set of 5 books inclusive of shipping to Singapore, very cheap compared to the English version -
