Yes, boiling soup is very simple & easy. Just dump all the ingredients (amount: aka aka would do) and boil.
Add more ingredients, the soup will be very tasty. I hardly add salt etc.

BTW, where do you buy dried cuttle fish? You may replace by fish maw; also very nice.

If you want, you can also add the black beans as it has high nutritive value. You may want to add in a few pieces of dried cuttlefish or dried oysters or dried scallops to make it even sweeter. Mmm, yummy!

actually , i luv balck beans with pig's tail soup......
but my family always complain that this soup is too heaty, so seldom boil it.
black beans....good for blood circulation and also heard that it's good for darkening of our hair. πŸ˜‰

Yes I know black beans are good for blood circulation, but didn't know it's good for darkening our hair. πŸ˜‰[/quote]Yes, black beans are rich in essential amino acids, Vitamin E, saponins, and other nutritional components.
so suppose to help in skin's elastin and hair revitalising, besides good for blood circulation.

other black anthocyanin foods includes black sesame seeds, seaweed, dark mushrooms, black chickens, blackberries.

ya, by adding some dried cuttlefish, makes the soup more tasty.
i'll still use big bone with some chicken feet, even with added dried cuttlefish as
too much cuttlefish wil spoil the original taste of the soup

try get the bigger cuttlefish, instead of the small ones,
the small ones are not that tasty when boiled with soup.
              i buy ε’¨ι±Ό (mΓ² yΓΊ).
it can go with raddish, lotus root, old cucumber soup....etc.

the bigger ones are avail mostly in wet markets instead of supermarkets.
or those bigger provision stalls selling dried products in neighbournood estate.

I like all kinds of herbal soup, but will discard the herbs and only drink the soup. Where can I buy those \"bag\" where I can put all the herbs in instead of letting the herbs float around in the pot? Or is this \"bag\" not a good option since it is like boiling \"cloth\" :?
