Ya, i used to think like that too... until my usual Katong laksa up its price from $3 to $4 a bowl earlier this yr! šŸ˜ž
So now it's more worthwhile to cook it at home for 4 adults. šŸ˜‰
Btw, hv u tried Ikea's laksa? Pretty good too. šŸ˜„ :offtopic:

          oh....if cook for 4 adults,maybe worth it....hehe
ikea laksa ?? u mean the ikea at tampines sells laksa ??
i only see them selling hot-dog buns.... šŸ˜‰

which katong laksa, u're referring to??
besides the katong laksa, i like the 328 laksa . wonder any increase in price to $4??

I only like 328 of all katong laksa. Yup, it's $4 a bowl now. 😢
Check out the daily specials at Ikea. Think u just missed its final \"laksa day\" in April šŸ˜‰ :
http://www.ikea.com/sg/en/store/tampines/restaurant[/quote]i also like 328 more than those katong laksa......oh so now it costs $4. šŸ˜‰

abt ikea laksa, i almost forget abt their foodcourt there, only ate there once.

btw, the prima laksa paste sufficient to cook for 4 adults ??
thot it is written for 2 person, can't remember.....or did i mix up with another paste.

Augmum, Prima's laksa paste is sufficient to cook for 4 adults or even more. I always have a large pot of gravy and we can have a few servings. Mmm, talking about it makes me drool... especially if we add in the tau pok and tau geh.

Sorry, EatNonStop. I seldom come into this thread, so didn't know you were looking for me, but looks like you found your way to posting a picture, so don't need my help anymore, right?

                    Need some advice/help:

I bought a pack of 2kg frozen chicken wings from ntuc. May I ask if there is any ready-made seasoning sauce so that I can apply on them (after defrosting) and then pop them into the oven to roast?

Also, I bought some minced meat (with some fats) and what is the best way to cook or stir fry?

                    Thanks.

Lee Kum Keeā„¢ Chicken Marinade is a convenient sweet soy-based cooking sauce. U can use this to marinate the chicken wings overnite....1 tip : use fork to \"poke\" the chicken wings so u can get the sauce to really get into the meat.

U can use the minced meat for steaming..normally I would season with sesame oil, soy sauce, abit of chicken stock and steam it. more healthier ya.

Will look out for this Lee Kum Kee chicken marinade during my next trip to the supermarket.
I saw quite a lot of fats in the minced meat and wonder how do I get rid of the fats.
