Dear fellow parents, sorry to disturb.
We would like to join SHHK and register our girl for Chongfu Primary. Unfortunately we do not have friends of connections that are existing members to be our sponsors.
Would any kind daddy or mummy willing to be our sponsors? Your gesture and kindess will be greatly appreciated.
We can be contacted at [email protected].
Thank you in advance and have a great day!!
Best Regards,

What a big relief! The exams are over for my gal!

My child is in p1, teachers already started giving out result and go thru corrections.
-
Their SA1 papers for Maths and English were given out. A few of them are quite interesting and challenging. Good experiences for them.
-
As expected, the composition is weakest.
Dear mummies, any tips/suggestions/ideas/experiences to share to help them in this area? thanks. -
Stellamummy
I am willing to share my method but I will not say this is the best method whatsoever, just sharing what I thought a P1 kid would understand.
I would tell Rae to firstly look at the picture in its entirety. Start by describing the settings (ie Where’s the place/setting). Next, zoom into each tiny segment of the picture and have a sentence or 2 to describe each segment. That would take up 4 or 5 sentences to fully describe the whole picture. Lastly, frame up the mood of the place as conclusion (ie Everyone looks very happy etc).
Of course, Rae loses marks in her sentence construction and grammar and I think this is a continuous learning journey for her as she progresses in her learning of the language.
Hope this helps
