      IJJ:

Then, I was \"onz\"er to coach her on her daily revision. She did assessment, topical in advance of her lessons. I followed Maths/CL texts syllabus. CL, I added oral, compre, vocabs and compo. As for EL, I used selected assessment books, and covered mainly 4 mains areas, Vocabs, Compre, Grammars and Compo(CW). Your son is with TLL and/or other classes, right? I think he is in good hands. πŸ˜‰

As for school teaching, if the teacher is 'onz', more teachings, I believe most PH teachers will cover sufficient for the level needs, for others, they adopt the infamous 'Teach less, learn more' philosophy.

Reading is a great way to learn too. Did your ds's EL tr start a class library for them?
My ds was a TLL 'reject', haha. Didn't make the cut during the proficiency test last yr. That's when I realised that even though ds reads a lot (by my standard), answering open ended questions requires a totally different skills set altogether.

Yeah, reading must be the most effective way to pick up the language. I'm starting to get ds to read chinese novels independently. So far, no resistance detected. Phew! πŸ˜“

Oh My Gal also say this year SA1 Maths Paper is Easier ....

Heh, it seems like P4 and P6 papers this SA1 are not that type that aim to kill their morale? My P5 son's papers have so far been quite challenging as far as he is concerned ... esp Maths P2 .. he left blank for the last few questions :stupid:

          Any feedback on P5 papers?

Hopefully tmr's Sci can at least restore some of his confidence .. πŸ™

And Can Score Some Working Marks?
If ALL Blanks, Very Difficult for T to assess -le!

Son told me no hope for Math.
Yes, I told my boy the same thing...Science is one of his better subjects, so hope he can do well and boost his confidence a little. He was reading the OE Q&A yesterday and trying to remember the keywords. Told him to stop at 1030pm and go to bed.

Now i am getting worried about the compo becos my son picked the non-pic one. and sometimes his imagination does run wild when writing a story. :nailbite:

What's done cannot be undone.....tell kids to learn from mistakes and not repeating it, that will be better for him and me too πŸ˜‰

My son also picked the non-pic compo. The reason he chose this was 'can write anything you want.' :nailbite: read too many adventure and ghost story books, full of imagination. and I also didn't realise it is very important to choose a correct topic and the impact of out of topic is :yikes:
Ok, at least learn somthing from here.
My son already said many many times that today is Last Paper... πŸ˜„
