I moved to new house last year. Will MOE send P1 registration letter to my current address?

If you have updated your NRIC, MOE will send to your new address.

Will i receive the P1 registration letter from MOE?Or i have to monitor myself?
I called MOE and they said, they don't send letters anymore to the address. Such information are passed through kindergardens, childcare and published on the papers/website.

So we can look out in June 🙂 , the forum will surely let us know as well :boogie:

MOE hasn't realise the seat vacancies in each school as well..

I asked because the address that you have on your ic (and thus used for registration) should be reflecting the home you are staying. Not sure if you have read the many posts and links about the implications of using a 'false' address for registration..

New address updated on IC but not the actual place the child is living is considered a false address.

Many years back a lawyer got into trouble for this. And the poor child may be transferred out..

Please read the 4th post in this link for the reply from MOE:

I understand the amount of stress you are going through. But it is really not worth doing anything illegal just to gain a place for your child.

Good luck in your P1 registration. :xedfingers:

I remember a case where a primary school girl was transferred out of her school just weeks before her mid-year exam. Imagine the disruption to the poor child.

Hi hot, have you moved or intending to move or using another address to be registered on your NRIC..?

                        Hi yap_susan

My understanding is u will get 2 slips in any phases when balloting is needed. So as to say, if 2 parents (1 Singaporean, 1 PR) need to ballot, there will 3 slips in the box, 2 slips for u, and 1 slip for the PR.

                        Thanks.

                        Hi,
What if I register for one school but didn't get in, then when I register for another school, still two balloting slips?
