Yah, thinking about what the contaminated water could have been used for. If I were a resident there and did a thorough cleaning using THAT water in that morning. I'll sure be cursing and swearing becos now got to redo - and even more thoroughly using clean water. :stupid: :stupid:
Yes, need to clean more things, the pail, the mop (maybe throw that away), the sink, can auto wash inside of the washing machine or not??? the bathroom, sigh..... seem to be spring cleaning X2 -
so dettol, fer-breeze, etc will all come in handy…
-
Maybe they will use that by the bottles, one bottle per room. Hope they will get over this…
-
wonder will it affect the property price?
-
So will the tank be replaced?
-
Nope they did not change the tank

No plans to change tank!
How to use the water from the tank.
Even if they decontaminate it, there is still the psychological factor there. -

Wah, your imagination very good. You can think of that. :faint: Hope no ks parents staying in that block and read this. :siam: :siam:
You never know whether it was contaminated for only 4 hours. How about instances when the maid and B worker hanky panky at the roof ? Don't they use water after their affairs ? How long have they been contaminating the water ? It sends shivers down my spine thinking of the supposedly better than world standard water quality that block has been using.hquek:
I read both news were on the same page of one of the chinese papers, maid one on top; the JB one below...and I recall reading that the JB residents drank and used the water for 3 days vs SG only 4 hours.
Yes, unfortunately, I do agree that no one will be held accountable - no heads will roll. -
SAHM_TAN:
Heng ah, I just switched to using wet sheets last year for house cleaning except for the kitchen. I find it very economical and convenient, reducing the trouble to wash rags and mop thus saving water. It costs only $1 for a packet of 20 sheets i.e. 5 cts per sheet. Try it. It reduces workload too, you know, just wipe and throw. :love:hquek:
