Heng ah, I just switched to using wet sheets last year for house cleaning except for the kitchen. I find it very economical and convenient, reducing the trouble to wash rags and mop thus saving water. It costs only $1 for a packet of 20 sheets i.e. 5 cts per sheet. Try it. It reduces workload too, you know, just wipe and throw.

hi are you referring to those wet floor wipes?

where did you buy at at $1, mine cost about $3+ at ntuc and giant.

i only use them to wipe up spills and kitchen (only when there is no cooking or very light cooking) otherwise it is the usual mopping way.

So will the tank be replaced?
Nope they did not change the tank

OMG! :yikes: :yikes: :yikes: :yikes:

No plans to change tank!
How to use the water from the tank.
Even if they decontaminate it, there is still the psychological factor there.
Maybe the residents there can gang up and file a civil suit against the TC management and contractor for negligence and breach of duty of care towards the residents for insufficient measures against unauthorized access to the watertank.

Then all the other TCs will buck up.. else, there's no guarantee that it will not repeat. There has to be adequate deterrence against negligence and bo-chup attitudes of contractors and TCs.

like dat huh.
Then TCs will end up spending most or all of their time to fight law suits - where got time left to maintain n run d towns.
It's a lapse dat's not difficult to correct with enforcement of existing n enhanced measures.

Ya, the town council should not be easily let off in this case. It will serve as a serious warning for the other town councils.

inspection covers, what are those? Does it mean extra ingredients will get into the water tanks? Think must look at water filters liao
