      pinky:
As reported in TODAY papers on 20/5/11:

-there are about 14000 buildings with water storage tanks
PUB carry out spot checks on about 30% annually
-from 2003 to 2006, 38 cases of non compliance
from 2007 to Apr 2011, 12 cases of non compliance
non compliance incidents include access to water tanks or inspection covers not locked
PUB has taken enforcement action against the parties involved in the non compliance incidents
inspection covers, what are those? Does it mean extra ingredients will get into the water tanks? Think must look at water filters liao

It's a lapse dat's not difficult to correct with enforcement of existing n enhanced measures.
        That is precisely the reason!

For something so easy to take care of and yet there is a security breach. A clear case of negligence. They should be taught a lesson to serve as warning to other TCs not to take residents for granted and neglect their well-being.

was shocked to read in the chinese evening papers that quoted residents suspecting cleaners having their bath at the rooftop.

but good to know that pp here are more vocal and swift in action. since the residents asked the current mgt for the town council to step down, wonder if this will happen.

it is high time that the town councils look into the water safety…there is a minister for water resources, right ?
