SCSS:
I believe PH is just like any other schs- mixture of teachers and pupils. Hence no norm scores nor sec schs.er.... , i am just wondering what are the \"norm\" scores for PHPP, and what type of schools. realistically, this group of super active parents fr PHPP hoping their child to arrive at? I salute the effort they put in to monitor the child and as mention, it scares me....
Just to answer your qn - my fren said the PHSS student are quite lay back (er... i think he means they are passive learner..) . No offence, pls.
This thread is super long in comparison to other schs' threads simply becos we talk abt non-sch topics too. No need to feel \"scared\".
I hv also heard from my elder boy's ex-CL tuition centre that those PH pupils in their tuition classes are very quiet, do not ask qns. Is this the same as being passive learners?
My elder boy is known for being quiet in his CL class, be it in sch or tuition centre. However, he becomes alive in other non-CL classes.
What subject is your friend teaching? -
Jennifer:
Just to add to Jen's post, the average T-score for PSLE 2010 was 228. Not sure if that is what you are referring to as the 'norm'?

Yes, the latest hot topic was the rise, and rise, of Toh Yi HDB property prices. :lol:This thread is super long in comparison to other schs' threads simply becos we talk abt non-sch topics too. No need to feel \"scared\".

If my boy can get into PH, think the teachers will have a headache. He is very talkative till I want to scotch-tape his mouth. He has been asking a lot of questions in his pre-school and he is definitely not the "normal" PH student.
I think a kid will only ask a lot if he/she is keen and the teacher can arouse their interest in a topic. Isnโt this the same for an adult? -
Hi mummies,

Pls advice.
Appreciate your help.

Our boys can shake hands. I did put a scotch-tape on his mouth once. Now he has progressed to blabbing sounds. -
