Was at RWS the past few days, went to USS on Monday. Chose that day on purpose hoping that since it is a Monday maybe not so crowded. Well the crowd around the whole RWS was lesser then on Sunday when we checked in but still crowded. Guess it’s bcos the hols have started. Ended up getting the express tix for the rides.

Kids totally enjoyed the stay there. Took some coaxing to get them on some of the rides but each time, they came out of it exhilarated. Went on the Madagascar Crate ride, the kiddy coaster (enchanted airways I think), flying canopy, Shrek 4D, Lights Camera Action, Jurasic rapids. Skipped Revenge of the Mummy and the Battlestar Galatica, cos mommy and daddy dun have the stomach for those either. But we stood there and gawked at the people taking the battlestar rides, even watching them was scary.

Moved on to sentosa island and spent the day at the underwater world, no Dolphin show though as it was mating season, butterfly park, fish spa and lost count of how many luge rides we took.

Everything was super ex. With the amount we spent on this trip, think we could have gone to BKK for 3days 2 nites and back. But diff kind of fun lah.

Downside, there were large groups of certain people that made a total nuisance of themselves. They get into your photos, push and shove and jump queues, then when buying tix, they rush in front and hold back everyone cos they have not decided what they want to get and start asking loads of questions and getting into group discussion while still not making the purchase, when told to move aside to discuss they keep saying ok oredi but continue to discuss. They park themselves everywhere, anywhere without care that they are blocking people’s way. They don’t follow instructions or directions and resulted in the skyride having to make emergency stops. While taking the Luge trail, they stop in the middle of nowhere to take pictures and when there are others in front and there is a need to stop, they think it is fun to keep bumping into the luge in front of them. Had to tell a few of them off at various points.

The kids were oblivious to this little irritation and when time came for us to leave RWS, they were reluctant. For the kids, I guess, it was an adrenalin filled few days while for us, the parents, it was a pocket burning, bone rattling, heart attack inducing few days. But well worth it to see those bright eyes and huge grins on their little faces.

Appreciate this info. Now I'm mentally prepared for this unpleasantness. Must keep my cool when there in a few weeks time. Pray that on that day my family is there, this 'certain kind' will be fewer.

Nope, they can close any of the ride due to technical fault. We encountered 2 rides there. The rides are not as stable compare to other US. :slapshead:

If I remember correctly, if ride alone, must be at least 120cm for most rides, if accompanied by adult min 90cm for most rides.

Can anyone advise you been there this Holiday? is the crowd really very bad? 😓
