      Hi SAHM_TAN,

My son asked me why I haven’t worn a dress for a long time. I told him practical clothes like jeans and tees are more appropriate. However, as kids are bigger now and no need to be carried, I can wear nicer looking tops with jeans.

Since arrival of no. 3 10 months ago, I've been living in T-shirt and bermudas/shorts :rotflmao: I wave the white flag liao
 almost 3 years liao......i'm still stuck in T-shirts/bermudas/shorts 😉 Comfy lah, but like Janet, starting to wear nicer tops and nicer bermudas 😄

Soon soon, your time will come.

I don't think my kids even remembered that I wear dresses/skirts

I will have to wait another 5 more yrs before I can think about wearing non-T-shirt top. I need to be in guerrilla outfit to chase and control them 😄 . Was seriously thinking about getting those kiddy leash when bb was 6mos and I took all 3 kids out by myself. But now they more or less know the drill when I'm the only adult in public places with them.

I seem to make them out to be monsters but they are ok most of the time. It's just that with the new bb and DH putting in more hours at work, their outings have been greatly reduced. Now an outing is like a jail breakout  poor kiddos

Yes, in the distant future  Not that bad lah. I'm ok to be in T-shirt / bemudas/shorts 😄

I became SAHM last year when my kids were already BIG, like 12 years and 10 years. But I can tell they prefer their mommy to be a SAHM instead of flying around here and there for business. I surprised myself being able to adapt to domesticity so easily, fortunately I still have a part-time maid who comes to help me with housework, otherwise I would hate it. I miss my work but domestic bliss is also good. My hubby gives me half my last drawn pay as spending allowance and I get to keep my car and long holidays are not cut (yet) but I find he is now making decisions without ‘consulting’ me eg changing his car.
