A lot of the stuff were prepared the day before, even the fish curry, the gravy with the veg was cooked the night before and the fish added only the next morning.

Mrs Bongz, you can get the curry powder from NTUC, they do sell. I bought a pack not too long ago when I ran out of the one my mum made. Not too bad. I like to use it to season fish and chicken wings. You can introduce Jap curry to your kids first, these are usually very mild and kids tend to like them.

Thank you! will try to search again!looking for new dishes and tastes to introduce to my kids.. I didn't know that curry can keep overnight, I always thot that things w coconut milk will turn sour ...

The indian curry I cooked no coconut or milk. So no probs keeping overnight.

oh yes, when i need to prepare a big feast for my guests,
those food or gravy can be cooked overnite, i def do part of the cooking first,
not possible (at least for me) to prepare everything on the same day.

even with that, still a lot of work to be done.....
so most of the time, i tell hub to avoid inviting guests if possible....kekeke

:please: Great and yummy, thanks for sharing with us. Now, I want to reward you with my specialty – pizza.

                  Ingredients:
                  1 egg (as glaze)
                  Tomato paste
Grated cheese (usually mozzarella, romano, parmesan, or some combination)
                  Olive oil (Optional)
Toppings can be almost anything you like including
                  •\tSliced pepperoni
                  •\tChopped onions
                  •\tGreen peppers
                  •\tSausage
                  •\tBacon or bacon bits
                  •\tChicken
                  •\tOlives
                  •\tMushrooms
                  Steps:
1.\tSpread tomato paste on your pizza dough
                  2.\tAdd a sprinkling of cheese
3.\tAdd any other toppings that you might enjoy
4.\tPlace your pizza on an oven tray sprayed with olive-oil, so that the pizza doesn't stick
5.\tPut your pizza in the oven, and turn it down to about 160C or 320F degrees
Hope you can make tasty pizza with my information~~~

happen to have mangosteen juice (fr marigold), so i added this in. from recipe, it stated that \"fruit juice of yr choice\" so long not too sour will do.

dun worry abt the recipe, papaya soup with chicken is very easy to boil.
juz fry few slices of ginger with the chicken till fragnant,
then aad-in water and papaya to boil with it.
add a pinch of salt to it at the end.

Wow so interesting to cook with mangosteen juice.

Ok, I have memorised the ingredients, but I find it strange that soup can be cooked with just chicken and papaya. Like that got taste meh? Interesting hor? 😉 Got to try to know.

Oh ya, how much papaya to put in?

I normally cooked the papaya & chicken soup with white fungus & red dates.
