certainly no point giving up other aspects of life just for a…bag, something that will eventually depreciate…nope not quite worth it at all

take my colleague for example... she has her eyes set on 1 coach bag, think cost more than $500...

she really sacrifice her lunch & transport js to be able to buy that bag...
if she join us for lunch, she wont buy any thing that is more than $3.00

i asked her: do u really hv to do this, js to get that coach bag... izit worth it? \"

she is also that kind to shrimp & save js to go on a backpack europe trip too. u nvr see her buying outside drinks; she brings her water bottle along with her where ever she goes.

i am sure most of us have been through that stage of saving up our pocket money for that toy, stickers, sweets or whatsoever.

it is just that now the items are different, higher grade, more expensive.

At least that girl save up to buy bag.

Not like some people who spend on credit.
Frankly speaking i don’t like bags which scream out the brand.
              I feel shy carrying them.
I think those are for the younger ones.
Older people should carry something more subtle. JMHO.

                  Happy Mama:

I personally feel that one should carry or buy a handbag within one's means. No point scrimping and saving just for a handbag... This is so suffering. No point following or copying others' lifestyle.

                  JMHO. 😉

                  :hi5: :celebrate:

hey Happy Mama, i see ur point too, that's why i asked my fren : izit worthwhile to do all this or nt... :slapshead:

Perhaps something subtle, monotone, without loud logos.

                      lucky i m not in the group \"old people\"
                      haha
                      Age is just a number.
There are always younger and older people around us, unless you are the oldest living person in the world.

                      Bags are also subjective.
If a girl feels good about a bag, she will naturally feel good carrying it and will shine with radiance (either inner or outer, this again subjective)when she carries it. It is the frame of mind that is important.

When i was young, i loved cute soft toys. I would hug and talk to it.
Now i find myself doing that to my bags!
