Being the only child, ds always complains that he's lonely. Then yesterday, he tricked me into promising to buy him a puppy if he does well in P1.

Much to dw's dismay, I fell straight into the trap (since I find it hard to say 'no' to ds most of the time anyway).

Then just now he said he wants a golden retriever. Darn! I stayed in a small flat how to keep such a big dog? I really regret shooting my mouth off w/o thinking, but I can't go back on my word cos I know it'll be such a big letdown. :slapshead:
You've got to be careful when you get a golden retriever. When it's a pup, it looks just sooo lovable and cute.... These retrievers usually arrive Singapore at the age of 3 months... but once you buy them, the pet shop guy told us that we need to quickly take lots of pictures as within the next 3 months, they will grow to 90% of the adult size. Huge and handsome, but no longer the cutie pup you saw 3 months ago. Another point to note, is that golden retrievers are heavy shedders.

But Mark, it's ok, go ahead to buy the pup and when it gets bigger and you dont know what to do with it, you can give it to me. DD is eyeing it too!

Sure ornot? I've a strong attachment toward all my pets, you know.

Come to think about it, I won't be too worried if I give it to you. At least I'll be assured that it'll end up in a good household (找到一个好住宿).

Can you teach it how to play 'fantasie impromptu' & speak korean then pass it back to me, keke.

            Jennifer,

Keming has balloting for <1km in most of the years. By phase 2c supp, I can only try Bukit Timah Prim. Lucky I am within 1km. I think out of 2km will be very dangerous cos most will try here if fail to get in Henry Park, RGPS and PH. Have heard a lot of positive feedbacks on this school recently.

Are you referring to the vacant premise previously occupied by Millenia Institute in Toh Tuck? Heard that PH will shift there for the current school to be upgraded in 2-3 years time.

Think Keming will have balloting for P2C > 1km and we can forget about Princess E since every year it's over-subscribed due to the high density of flats there.
From what I understand, applicants in Keming and Princess E have been facing balloting for those staying within 1km (P2C)...Princess E has open house, and it's hard to understand the rationale when it is facing balloting :siao:
Nanyang is so far the only co-ed school in Bukit Timah with 390 students with no cut. Henry Park and Pei Hwa cutting 1 class for next year's intake. Poor parents facing more stress.

My hubby tries very hard to be the ‘good guy’…but with son going to P6, he has failed miserably.

Kids said they wanted a pet…I told them, "NO animals". Then my mum promised daughter fighting fish. But I brought the fish to mum’s place bcos she agreed to the fish.
