      PS: Please don't flame me.
Why would anyone flame you? Is your book that bad?

Normally, people get flamed for gratuitously self-promoting their services or products, especially when they post the same messages on several threads.

In my experience, the kind souls here on KSP simply ignore such postings. :snooze:

Preparing for PSLE is a family affair, and takes many hands to clap.

It would be good for both parents and child to understand each other.
I wrote a story book about how a family went through the ordeal \"PSLE Survival Guide For The Family\". It is available in National Library, and bookstores.
It is a story book, with simple English, which means the child can read too.
It is not a revision guide book, so it should be quite refreshing change for those whonare doing assessments day and night. By reading the experiences, successes and mistakes of others, perhaps we can benefit. I hope it is useful for you.

          PS: Please don't flame me.
          Papa Tan,

I saw this book of yours at Popular Bookshop not too long ago and bought a copy. Completed reading in about 2 to 3 hours and passed to my ds who will be taking PSLE next year to read. Gotta mentally prepare him as he needs a lot of pushing. Great reading.

I'm researching on the sec schools COP and printing for him to review and to have him set his goals... stress siah. He's now at around 220+, potentially should be able to reach 240+ provided he focus. He's weak in languages but good in Math and Science (provided he does not make careless mistakes)....

I spend more time with him on languages, his math and science marks slipped. Very irritating. :stupid: So I'm going to use your wife's method of visiting Popular bookshop and gather those books and papers for my ds to practise and practise and practise :xedfingers: hopefully my ds will not be turned off by a KS mummy.....

            Palm80,

Thanks for getting the book. I am simply hoping that this book would be of value to people here.

Did your ds read it? How does he feel about the book? How does he feel about this PSLE thingy?

            Thanks.

              Papa Tan,

My ds read the book, have not asked him about how he felt about the book, will do so this weekend. Am trying to get him to feel the heat. hahaha. Once he does, am quite sure i will have an easier time getting him to study. hahaha

But personally, I will want my Dh to read that as he leaves everything in the children’s dept to me. sigh*** But I will endeavour…

I keep reading about last-minute and its giving me panic attack ;(( Dd’s subject to improve is MT… though she seemed to be improving (surprisingly managed to pass in SA!!), there seems to be some regression.

Yes, its the last lap and still no urgency as yet…- sigh

Hi my boy is in P5 this year, he did not do well for science and languages. But A for math… What shall I do? The English home tutor, every lesson, no planning. Just make him do Exam paper and correct . Worse still she kept SMS during the lesson…

Change the tutor. Rely on personal recommendation.
