ya i think Jurong West really has many many young families!
i have a friend who lives in Holland area. she came to my house for a playdate and brought her 2 kids. she was so surprised to see so many kids around this area. we went to the playground and then walked to JP for a meal together. along the way, she kept exclaiming that in her area, she never sees so many similar age children in a day playing around her estate!

so i think it is quite a big squeeze in P1 reg still, for a lot of parents, even with a new sch... so cham.

There are only 28 seats for 2b and there are 51 PV's so obviously priority will be given to those first staying within 1 km and then to 1-2 km so guess outside 2 KM maybe less chances

Oh, thanks. well, cos I thot all the 51 PV would have equal chance to fight for the 20 over vacancies. So there is also various balloting stages similarily to P2C.

Then again, these 51 PV will also need to fight with the community leaders too, right? Under the same phrase?

Whats your plan B?

I can also apply for Nanhua at phase 2B too but it is also very competitive there.

I also have an alternative of applying for Jurong Primary School at phase 2A2.

I know I should be counting my blessings now so I should not complain

Yes 51 PV's + the community leaders which we dunno right now.. so pretty tough thats the reason I was thinking why must Rulang reduce 1 class :skeptical:

I think Rulang has to reduce one class due to school upgrading which was only announced at end of last year. The upgrading will be done onsite which is already disruptive to the school.

JPS is a good school but yes less popular than Rulang.. so I would suggest to get addmission first in JPS and check the condition in Rulang and Nan Hua(also very popular)....
